Ive trashed prefs and even did a complete uninstallreinstall of ID.
![]() Os X Yosemite Adobe After Effects Cs6 Install Of IDIs that it Illustrator has Adobe Illustrator Prefs - is that the right one for Illustrator And Photoshop has Adobe PHotoshop CS5.1 Prefs.psp - is that right. I use it before and after OS upgrades for clearing caches and repairing permissions etc. I also activated fonts in Font Agent Pro v6.204 after creating Indesign document and was able to select those newly activated fonts. I was using version 5.5 and upgraded to 6 as I read there was extensive testing done between Apple Adobe for Creative Suite 6. After paying the 275 to upgrade, my InDesign 6 is acting exactly the same way as version 5.5. A tech from Adobe as since told me InDesign 6 is NOT compatible with Yosemite. If someone has a way for me to get my InDesign to work, I would be MOST appreciative. My next step is to take my computer to Apple and have Mavericks put back on. And finally, Ive never had problems with in place OS upgrades, but I also always run system maintenance before and after an upgrade to clear out caches and repair permissions. I upgraded to CS6 hoping it would work better under Yosemite, but I guess I was wrong. I really need someone to help me PLEASE Ive tried everything suggested so far, no 3rd party FONT plug-ins. I know Im not the only one having these problems. Is there a fix coming. It sounds like you hosed something pretty bad with that upgrade. Did you try Cocktailrepair permissions, clear caches and logs, run daily, weekly, monthly system scripts Have you removed all but the required system fonts and run some tests Are you having problems with new files as well as old. We just took out all of the fonts except for the ones we need to run and I couldnt even get FINDER to open. ![]() I have used the Java Legacy Updater with no help to the scenario. Model Name: MacBook Pro Model Identifier: MacBookPro6,1 Processor Name: Intel Core i7 Processor Speed: 2.66 GHz Number of Processors: 1 Total Number of Cores: 2 L2 Cache (per Core): 256 KB L3 Cache: 4 MB Memory: 8 GB Processor Interconnect Speed: 4.8 GTs Boot ROM Version: MBP61.0057.B0F SMC Version (system): 1.57f18 Sooooo frustrating. Still not working. Ugh. Any advice greatly appreciated. Cheers. ![]() Ive trashed prefs and everything, but that doesnt fix it. I have found that I can open files that were made before I updated (say, a.indd file from September) delete the content and use it as a template and the program will work fine. But if I open a file that was originally created AFTER the update, ID crashes and I get that error message.
